Why work with me?
Three things I bring that most coaches can't offer together.
1
I've lived it
I know ADHD from the inside.
Feeling misunderstood, overwhelmed and inconsistent. Great ideas that never get started. The masking, the shame, the rejection sensitivity and the creative bursts. I also know the huge relief of finally understanding my brain. That's the bit I want to help you find.
2
I know the territory
28 years as a Social Worker. 18 in mental health.
I've spent 18 years at a national mental health charity, working directly with people on their ADHD journey. I'm a qualified ADHD coach, trained with Barrett Coaching and Training, and a confidential, safe space matters hugely to me.

Coaching built for ADHD
No generic advice. Your agenda, always.
Together we'll understand your wiring, patterns, strengths and values, and the barriers in the way. Then we build strategies that move you forward, instead of round the same loops that keep you stuck.
Meet your coach
Hi, I'm Natalie
I was diagnosed with ADHD in 2022, and it took time to process. A year later I joined a group coaching session and everything changed. We recognised each other's stories, we were honest, and we really connected. I left with an exhilarating sense of belonging, and that's what inspired me to train as an ADHD coach.
Understanding my ADHD showed me how much I'd been carrying that never belonged to me: the self-blame, the shame, the confusion, and every reason I'd found for not moving forward. Once I knew my brain worked differently, I could finally offer myself compassion, and the courage to go after a life I'd only dared to dream about.
I love helping people tackle their barriers and limiting beliefs, and spot the best parts of themselves.
For 18 years I've worked with a national mental health charity, supporting people through exactly the things ADHD makes hard: starting and finishing tasks, impulse control, emotional dysregulation, shame spirals, self-trust, relationships, prioritising and organising. I'm also a qualified Social Worker, with 28 years' experience across addiction, offending behaviour, housing and mental health.

I'm an extravert who loves peace. I've finally allowed myself to slow down, to keep burnout at bay.
I can hyperfocus on the tiniest scraps of fabric and paper for hours.
I know the despair of creating chaos while cleaning the house. My partner once mistook my cleaning spree for a burglary. True!
I love colour, creativity and bringing people together.
Burnout can feel permanent. Moving through it takes radical acceptance and deep rest.
When menopause hit, my vaguely methodical brain jumped ship. It took a while to find strategies that work.
“I know exactly how it feels to try your best, and for it still not to be enough. You don't have to keep doing this on your own.”
From the outside, ADHD can look like laziness or lack of effort. From the inside it's masking, overwhelm, big ideas that stall at the starting line and a very loud inner critic. I know these well, from 18 years alongside people on their ADHD journey and from my own head.
Pop a bubble to see how it can feel, and what we might try together.

Each one is something ADHD brains know well. There's no wrong order.

How I work
Coaching happens online by video, or face to face in my garden studio. It always starts with a free 30-minute chat about where you'd like to go.
I use a proven neuro-affirming framework. My approach is collaborative, curious, creative and trauma informed. Together we'll explore your ADHD brain, soften your inner critic and strengthen your inner coach, so you can build confidence and change that lasts.

Let's body double
Body doubling means doing your task alongside another person. It's honestly one of the best support tools I know.
Until we can sit side by side, here's a little timer to borrow. Pick one small thing you've been avoiding, set a short time (a couple of minutes is plenty), press start, and watch the plant grow while you get on with it.
You don't need to stay on this page. The countdown keeps going and shows in your browser tab.

About coaching
What happens in a coaching session?
Each session is guided by your agenda. We look at what's going on for you, get curious about your patterns and what's in the way, and find a next step that's genuinely doable for your brain. You leave with something practical to try, not a lecture.
How much does coaching cost?
£60 per 60-minute session, booked as a block of six (£360). Payment is upfront or per session. Further sessions can be booked afterwards if you'd like ongoing support. The first 30-minute chat is always free.
Online or face to face?
Either. We can meet by video wherever you are, or face to face in my garden studio just outside Stowmarket. Just say which you'd prefer when we have our free chat.
Do I need a diagnosis?
No. Whether you're diagnosed, on a waiting list or just wondering, you're welcome exactly as you are.
Is this therapy?
No, this is coaching, and I stay within coaching boundaries. Coaching is practical: where you are now, where you want to be and how to get there. Therapy helps you understand and heal from what has happened.
About retreat days
Do I need to be creative?
Not at all. Creative exploration is optional and open to everyone. Some days are full of fun and chatter, others are a chance to unwind and find stillness. We'll see what unfolds.
What's included, and what should I bring?
Just yourself, plus any project you'd like to focus on. All materials, refreshments and a vegetarian or vegan lunch are provided. Let me know about dietary needs in advance. We can try painting, collage, batik or origami mobiles, and there's Suffolk countryside right outside if you'd like a walk.
Is the studio accessible?
The property is single-level with a few small steps, and there's a small step into the studio through a patio door. Inside it's quiet, calm and sensory-friendly, and I'm happy to adapt the space to your needs where I can.
However we work together, I'll make sure you feel safe and listened to. People pleasing and masking can be left at the door.
Say hello
Let me know how I can help and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. A free 30-minute chat is a lovely place to start.
